No doubt you remember that the first thing the viciously anti-gun Mr. Rowan did when he heard some kid in his hot tub was grab what was alleged to be his FBI son's service handgun and shoot at the kid. The joke was that DC's gun laws were so strict only Carl Rowan could have a gun.

Actually, the gun Rowan used was a .22 pistol that his FBI agent son ILLEGALLY brought into the city. He also left it at his father's home, ANOTHER felony (illegal transfer) under DC code. Oh, and he also provided ammunition for said illegal firearm, yet a THIRD felony. I don't believe he was ever charged or disciplined by the FBI.
