In a way I'm kinda glad that they haven't been posting pictures lately as it saved me from going to their store and spending $ on new toys. ☺️
I have one and enjoy it. Fun to shoot but the ammo is crazy now.Does anyone here have any experience with, or opinions on the Desert Eagle .50 AE? I‘ve been considering buying one. At $3.00 per round, it probably won’t see too much use, but… I don’t have one yet.

I wouldn’t mind having one of those in .357 Mag if I can find itShooting/ hunting partner #2 has one .
Desert Eagles are well made , accurate , reliable pistols .
.50 AE is a potent cartridge .
If you can handle mainstream factory loads from a regular size .44 Mag , .50AE is no problem to handle .
That said , the average Deagle owner , has one because they look cool in bad action movies and rap videos .
It's BIG . It's expensive . It's BIG . Did I mention it's BIG ? I have XXXL hands , and it's a stretch for me .
What's your philosophical approach to Big Bore pistol performance ? Specifically large Diameter wound channels vs Really Deep penetration ?
The 325gr .50 has similar Sectional Density to the 240gr .44 . The quinestial .50AE load , the 325 Gold Dot will penetrate as a 240 JHP .44 , with 1/3 more Cross Sectional Area . A hard cast 300 gr plus .44 Mag , or 320 plus .45 at Ruger levels will penetrate Really Really Deep .
The average Deagle owner will only shoot a half box of ammo , if they shoot it at all . If you will shoot it often , you will need to handload .
If you're looking for something big and unique, have you considered the Five-Seven? It cycles much more reliably, carries more ammo, is way lighter. Also much cheaper to shoot, though the ammo can be a bitch to find from time to time.Does anyone here have any experience with, or opinions on the Desert Eagle .50 AE? Can't say for the 50, but I've got one in 44mag and another in 357mag. I enjoy both and considering the overall weight the felt recoil isn't too badDoes anyone here have any experience with, or opinions on the Desert Eagle .50 AE? I‘ve been considering buying one.
