I have it in pieces cleaning now. I will post assembled pics when it goes back together. Any help with markings is appreciated.

From what I can tell from the photos, the numbers that match don't seem to have been force-matched, but there's also a Ukranian re-arsenal stamp present, so some may have been. Looks like a nice piece to me. Maybe you can get one of the real Gurus here to take a look at it in person.

I like it!! I purchased a Tula from AIM when they originally had the Molots.

You definitely have an Izhevsk mount and the sighting tabs appear to have been filed to be at point of aim.

Looks to be as legit as any of the other Molot snipers. Do all of the serialed parts have the letter prefix?

Nice looking rifle, parts appear to be original matching, the scope was changed out at some point but that is a SVT scope recalibrated for the 91/30 which is a real plus on the rarity side.

Here are some pics of it back together. The only part I have seen without a letter prefix is the butt plate. Same number, just no letters.

The bore ended up ended up cleaning pretty good. Overall I am very happy with it. Now I just have to see if it will shoot.

Oh yeah. I also threw the bore sighted on it and the scope looks to be very close .

Although this is a real sniper, it may still need accurizing such as shimming or barrel wrap, the gunboards forum has some real good ideas.

Here are the first three shots from 50 yards. Unfortunately I forgot to take more pics. It dialed right in though. Very easy to zero. Love it so far.

Going to try to hand load.
