I just took possession of my Cimarron Texas Brush Popper and it is gorgeous! Wasn’t a fan of the pistol grip stock but it’s growing on me. It’s chambered in .357 magnum and has an 18” half octagon barrel. I can’t wait to shoot it!

Yeah, that rifle looks great. Congrats, let us know your feedback once you've put some rounds through it. The only bummer is that .357 Magnum is still way too pricey unless I've been looking in the wrong places.

I honestly haven’t checked lately but one of the reasons I chose .357 magnum is that it matches my SAA and I can shoot .38 special.

Zincpoint.Com had 357s on sale yesterday. I think they were 399 for 500 rounds. 158 grain semi jacketed soft point Fiocii...

I can't speak for the customer service from that company since I've never ordered from them but a friend of mine has and he says they're a little slow to ship but you will get your product.. I've been looking for once fired 357 Magnum brass since I just bought that Henry big boy. The only brass I can find is New Star line for $70 a bag. I'll pass on that for now. I've got thousands of rounds of 38 special brass I can load to plink with while I'm waiting.

    Found one too

I just found one too, same thing, and ordered it this morning. New in the box but no actual pictures. I got a Winchester last week that is beautiful. I hope this one is nice, probably is.

Mill Creek Wranglers shoot a Cowboy Action match on the third Saturday of the month at Anne Arundel Fish & Game outside Annapolis. Friendly, no pressure match.

Come on out and skin that smoke wagon!

    I would love to attend!
Not sure I’m ready to compete though.
    Is it open to spectators?

    Absolutely!

If you're reading MD Shooters, you're ready. Bring what you've got and let me know what guns you need to borrow. I'll being extra ammo and you'll buy my lunch at Red, Hot & Blue.

That’s awfully nice of you but I think I’d like to watch for my first time out. I’ll definitely look into it. Thanks again!
