Looking for any recommendations for a good tripod for my Chronograph.

I use a light stand. Light weight, cheap, and very compact. It's bottom-heavy, so it's less likely to tip over.
Just do what photographers do. Hang either a sandbag, or a gallon bottle of water from it.Cheap camera tripod is best.
If its really windy, be sure to stake the legs.
They tend to blow over.
I use the same for all the same reasons, plus I had one laying around. They work great.
