    Sadly, I believe a lot of law-abiding gun owners would do it right now, just to get the tax break. It's almost ingenious; Raise tax rates, or in this case, let tax cuts expire, then provide tax break to further agenda of disarmament.

    You can make more money selling your guns now instead of turning them in for a tax break. The jerks will just raise taxes anyway.

    What is needed is for everyone to instruct their employer to withold zero federal taxes from their paycheck.

    That would bring the government quickly to its knees.
