Does anyone in NoVa happen to have a precision instrument for measuring case neck wall thickness that I can borrow for just a few days? I would really appreciate it and would return the favor. If so, please email me. Thank you.

Digital Calibers really are not the correct tool to use for taking neck measurements.. With calibers if the bottom of the neck is thinner that the top of the neck you will not see it when measuring with vernier calibers.
You should use a Case Neck Micrometer with a set ball that goes inside the neck and a micrometer on the outside so you get the correct measurements from the top of the neck to the bottom..
I have a Sinclair neck mic but I am not geographically desireable to you sir.

when did you move to America?

Ha! It's been a few months. I have to admit, I miss the walkability of Bethesda and all the restaurants we had access to there. However, Virginia has obvious advantages that I'm enjoying very much.

BTW, I just sucked it up and ordered a micrometer with my Virginia tax savings.
