I just bought a 24 gun canon safe from Tractor Supply. Any good? I paid $549. Fire resistance is 1200 degrees, for 30 min.'s and it weighs 307lbs. Anyone have any experience with the likes of these?

They do stand behind their products. (I do warranty work for them.)

That said; it's a $550 safe. Not sure what you are expecting from it.

Their fireproofing is pretty much drywall glued to the inside.

I have one I got from Costco/Sam's Club. Will it stop someone? Sure. Will it stop someone determined? Nope. Youtube has videos of how to break into all these safes. But it'll keep my stuff safe from fire and it'll keep honest people honest and it's one helluva workout to move.

Yeah, I figured I'm getting what paid for it. It's mainly for keeping the grandsons safe. The other one is busting at the seems, and I still have stashes elsewhere.

I've had one for 3 years. Got it at Costco. It's a good safe for the money but keep in mind that if you're truly trying to fit 24 guns, get a bigger safe.

I've read the reviews, and am aware of the 24 gun claim. Lol. I don't know which rifles they're using as reference, but, their advertising is defenately flawed. My other safe was rated at 22 guns. I was only able to put maybe 11 long guns in that. Rediculous to think that 22 guns fit. Lucky for me, I'm more interested in handguns.
