    Looks like we'll be moving to MD in a few years , so I have question to ask of the Community;

    Can I bring a silencer .22- I have 2 one eternal and one external, into MD from PA and hunt small game with it? After establishing residency in MD, of course.

    I mean what do I do to keep above board?

    Thanks.

    wow, MN and IA are surprising :shrug:

    That's old school thinking in Mn (Iowa?) because of the thought that it would increase poaching and not politically motivated (my opinion). They are coming around however, to new ways of thinking in that you can now hunt predators at night with a light (in Jan with a rimfire) and the use of centerfire weapons less than .24 caliber are permitted for big game.

    With the current trend to allow silencers for hunting expanding, I would think it will be adopted in the next few years.

    Crossbows are also taboo BUT, we could ALWAYS hunt on Sunday!

    Since you have a couple years, try to go elsewhere. Consider that Maryland is small enough that you can commute to just about anywhere in this state while living in a more gun friendly state
