Guys, I am thinking of applying for the C&R license. One question, being a military member, if I get stationed to another state, do i have to reapply for another license?

C & R is a FEDERAL license, has nothing to do with any state. Make sure you read all the info so you understand the C & R concept, authority and oversight.

I think it's change of address, but your license number will change, since if I recall correctly the number has the state "embedded" in it.

Just read the ATF Publications and you are correct

Base commander is irrelevant if he lives off base. I think its pretty much understood that firearms are not allowed on military bases, even C&R guns.....
