Alright I bought a box of Berry's .45 230 grain round nose plated...

My question is where do you guys get yours..

Right now I'm just sticking to 9mm and .45 to learn.

    Any suggestions

Graf & Sons for Berry's plated. But that's only to supplement home cast 45/230's & 9mm/124's.

Same here. I cast all of my own bullets, but, in the event when I reload anything plated, I do also get mine from Graf. I buy my .300 WIN MAG and .270 plated bullets from there and the prices are excellent. Plus they don't screw you on shipping like most other places do. Here's some .270 I reloaded with Graf bullets.

What do you usually crimp to on the 45 and 9??

Good question. I use a LEE Classic Turret. so I got LEE crimping dyes, followed LEE's instruction, and never looked back....I believe there is a "light" crimp on all my reloads.

I don't like using plated bullets in my .45. When I want FMJ the place I go online is Precision Delta. If I want lead, I go to Dardas.
