Yup just like dogs can't look up (of course they can look up, they just aren't as apt to and if they are in close you would be above their line of sight, but they have to be very close).
I have had more than a few come in and drop their head as if to feed and then look right up at the stand. Then they will drop their head for a second and then look right back up. It feels like they are trying to fool you into moving into position to take a shot. If you move when they are looking up, goodbye.
