I known someone using skateboard tape.. but you want to use something not as abrasive when in and out of mag pouches.

I don't think I have the patience's, I don't think I've ever dropped a pistol, so not sure I really need it, but for the cool factor alone, worth the effort if you have the time.

Might be even cooler still to first stencil, some words or a cool logo on the grip, maybe the MDS logo (need permission to do this?), or the words SIG SAUER, or Don't Tread on one side, the On Me on the other, or perhaps best of all- anything from this page of images: molon labe

it starts moving pretty fast once you start doing it. i was lucky, I made it look interesting enough to get my girlfriend to ask me if she could try it she did about 1/4 of the mag.

just used a woodburner type soldering iron total time was about 40 minutes.

hardest part was doing the back of the magazine
