Nope, article says that other agencies would take over the BATF's functions. They may or may not be more invasive depending on the agency, but the BATF wouldn't be replaced by an even more nefarious organization.

This is extremely unlikely to happen anyway.

they wont eliminate ATf they will jsut create another agency that does the same thing but has different regulations and you will have to comply with both. Government doesnt eliminate it exacerbates
