Took advantage of the time home to do some restocking.

    250 Rds .223
    150 40 S&W
    50 9mm.
Not a lot but good use of snow days home.

    Anybody else?

I took a break from shoveling snow for final assembly of 400 rds. of .38spl. Cases had already been deprimed/primed/belled, so I was just charging and seating.

I was able to deprime, resize and prime ~1,000 12ga hulls.

...still waiting on wads that were supposed to be delivered on Friday.

Stopped by Bass Pro on the way home Friday and loaded 100 .45LC cases. It was cold in the garage, but I have an extra 100 rounds!

    Blizzard Reloading?

Not much of a challenge until you lose power for a week.

Priming cases by candle light after Sandy dumped on us was a real learning experience...

I did 200 45 Colts. Half with Trail boss for the Vaquero. The other half with Universal for the 1894. Did it all on the reloading bench my grandfather made in the 60s.

Nevermind priming cases by candle light, it would be interesting to set about charging cases by candlelight, especially if you were using the candle to peer into the case to see the level of powder . . .

It never occurred to me having to reload in the dark like that.

now that im thinking about it, the repositionable adjustable articulated mirrors would be extremely handy for reloading by candle light...be able to reflect the light down just as you need it... maybe a magnifying lens as well.

I spent two evenings and one afternoon loading as well.

I made 30 rounds of a ladder for the following:

280 Remington 110 grain TNT hollow points with IMR 4350
from 54gr to 58 grs of powder in .05 gr increments.

280 Remington 140 gr Sierra Game King with IMR 4350
From 49grs to 53 grs of powder in .05 gr increments.

280 Remington 140 gr Sierra Game Kings with H-4831
From 54 grs to 58 grs of powder in .05 gr increments.

I really like the last load I made with the 154 Grain Hornandy Soft points
but I had 100 rounds of the 140 grain game kings and the need to feed this addiction!!!:innocent0

I tried to get ahead for the upcoming cowboy action shooting year. Couple hours a day on and off, had it all done in about 5 days.
