    Try pool cue chaulk. There a challenge to hit (1"), cheap (25 cents each), and make a puff of cool blue chaulk dust if you hit them.

    Old milk, OJ jugs & water bottles filled with water & food coloring, the plastic stays together for the most part.

    Sidewalk chalk from the dollar store, milk jug caps, ping pong balls, clays, old tennis balls. One other tip. Walk around the perimeter of a baseball or softball field that borders woods. I have a sack of old baseballs and softballs too.
