Best AR rifle under $800?

I just bought a del-ton hbar kit and a stripped lower.. Total cost (kit, shipping, lower) at this point is $570. Never put one together before but am looking forward to assembling it.

Yes. All you need to do is start throwing the parts on it. It's ready to build. You need to fill out a 77r an do the waiting period, then your ready to roll.

Just build it from a stripped lower, then buy a completed upper, once your paperwork comes back. Easier that way and should cost less too.

S&W M&P15 Sportsman

I have seen the S&W M&P15 Sportsman models for sale new in the $800.00 range. Real nice gun only differance i saw was it didn't have the forward assist button or dust cover over the ejection port.

I"m at work now so I can't surf gun shops but Check out Classic Firearms website. They have them on sale for $449. At least they did on Saturday when I ordered mine. Midway also has some Del-Ton kits.
I ordered the dissipator kit

Del-ton Kit + my $100 stripped lower from 2013 = Goodness

Mid South Shooters also has the HB Delton kits for $499 and they include a tactical case if you can't find one elsewhere. So for less than $500 and a less than $100 receiver you'd be ready to roll for $600 max.

yep, all you gotta do is fill in the blanks.

You can buy the parts individually, or get a parts kit. You're good with common parts except for fire control group.

I will...DI is fine with me. I've always thought its a poor craftsman who blames his tool. Just like many things, its usually lack of or improper maintenance causing issues as opposed to the actual design.
