...these will be the first ARX-100s produced, and that the normal rules will not necessarily apply... especially if Beretta uses this as a way to thumb their nose at the state.

I can only hope they agree! First in line get another soon-to-be-banned firearm that is made right here in our lovely "Free State"? It would be nice Italian-American "gesture" on the part of those of us who believe in 2A.

One other thing: if it turns out this is, for sure, not going to happen, I'd appreciate knowing ASAP. I am putting aside some funds for this, but will redirect them towards an Israeli FN FAL build if it doesn't go through.

This would look pretty slick SBR'D.

Anyone have details on the 300BLK option?

    AR15? Check
    Tavor? Check
    AAC 300BLK upper? Check
    SCAR 17S? Check

What else would be a good pick up pre-01Oct?

Agreed. After the Engage rifle, and HOPEFULLY picking up an FDE tavor sometime before 10/1 Id like to get one more if this doesnt work out.

I'm with you guys and I'm in the exact same boat.

We are really trying to make this happen but if it turns out to be a NO-GO, I'll get that info out ASAFP!

    Cheers,

    Bump.

Also, Don, I appreciate you trying to get this in order. I have no idea what it takes to organize this, or what kinds of people you need to know to get this done.

I imagine you toiling away in some dark cavern: bat guano dripping furiously on your broad sweat-glistened shoulders, sliding viscously down your rugged, yet stern and hard working greasy back, with oily matted man-hair curled thickly.

LOL, I'm not sure about most of this, but my efforts have been minimal.

Lots of people with more connections than I got me a name a Beretta. I e-mailed that individual and they thought it was a great idea.

They have to work with lots of other folks to see if there is production available for such a program. I have a calendar reminder set to check with the Beretta contact. When I hear back, I'll post up ASAP.

Thanks for you efforts regardless. Once a price and date are determined, I'm fairly certain interest will be high.

Let me also suggest that, if Beretta can't get the timing right for a pre-10/1 group buy, producing a MD-specific model (comp/brake instead of FH) later would be appreciated.

Wouldn't the folding stock PLUS the pistol grip make it a Maryland-defined "Assault Weapon"?
