    Didn't the military start buying the A1 version?

    Although I don't like the 92/M9, I did think it had great lines and a nice look. The rail just ruins a great looking handgun.

    Ok will these newer Beretta 92s be interchangible with the slides from an older 96? Will my old 92 and 96 Mags work with the newer ones? Also have a threaded barrel for the 92. Can i still use that?

    I have a ciener 22 conversion kit. Will that fit?

    The 92 stuff that we have here is interchangeable. Your old mags will work in the new one. The threaded barrel should be good to go however I would suggest bringing in your barrel and conversion kit to make sure it will fit.
