Did a search but couldn't find anything on this topic.

I wanted the heaviest duty bipod for my AR50, so I got the one from GG&G. It's a great bipod but I didn't know the cant feature couldn't be locked. If I can't remedy the problem, what's another good heavy one? Atlas? I tried looking for ones for M14s & such, but didn't see much.

    Google. F- class bipod

That should fit the requirement. I have not seen anything more beefier.

I personally like the ggg bipod for heavier guns.

A F-Class style bipod will definitely be the most beefy, however most of the F Class bipod legs don't fold up. If folding legs are a requirement, I'd suggest looking at the Long Range Accuracy (LRA) bipod. I think they are beefier then the Atlas.
