I bought ammo from Columbia WM before. I had no idea they quit selling. Thanks for the heads up.

Years ago Dicks in Columbia sold ammunition and long guns....

They stopped selling well before they expanded that store.

its funny that I walked in the for the first time 2 weeks ago and walked around the whole store twice before realizing that they didn't have a firearms section at all...

damn thats only an hour away from here... I think I might take that hike if I knew i was guaranteed to get 2 cases of green tips, but then again when I think of it I can actually get 1,000 rounds of it shipped online for $450. Im sure by the time I drive out there and back I would have spent over $500 including gas etc

I don't think that they are green tips, just M193 knockoff rounds. 420 for $200, or ~ $.47 per round.

Dick's in Columbia did NOT stop selling guns/ammo due to lack of business. IMHO, it was strictly political. Howard County proper is a political libtard bastion.

It's a pity. When I moved to MD 25 years ago, (has it really been that long?) Howard County was pretty conservative. Columbia ultimately changed that. That socialist pre-planned community started sucking in liberals from all over the place. :mad54:

Honestly, I believe that was the final straw that turned this state completely blue. Without HoCo; Balt, Monkey Co. and PG Co were just a little shy of the votes needed to rule the state. :sad20:

I broke down and purchased a 420 round can of 855 from Mount Airy WM on Sunday even though I am trying to avoid paying sales taxes. They didn't have any more left or I would have posted. The price is up to $200 from $175.
