Jon Herbst is a dino challenger to the incumbent Vicki Almond and has the endorsement of the incumbent County Exec Kevin Kamenetz..

    This is interesting
    Vicki was
Chief of Staff to Senator Bobby Zirkin who is endorsing her opposition as is the County exec.

My bet -- she is blocking a project they all want ... hum ..

    Vote VICKY IMHO.

She was backed by everyone before she got elected. She supported the old Sweet Heart Cup factory being turned into retail shops. Kevin's group didn't want this as they were going to build on the METRO lot and did not want competition.

She lost all her support from the "big dems" because she supported further growth that wasn't going to make Caves Valley Partners, which is KK's and company cash machine. They've put more money into the coffers trying to stack the council this year.

Vicky is a stand up person from my encounters even though we do not share the same political ideas as one another.
