At around 7:30pm today ( 2/22/12 ) my next door neighbor called the house asking if anyone had come and knocked on our door. She then told us someone had been banging on her front door and when she asked who it was through the door they said " Your neighbor " she asked which neighbor , and then the guy went for the door handle and tried to get in, fortunately everything was locked up and the guy left quickly but it shows that anything can happen at anytime of day

haha oh, well....shocker. Hopefully you and your neighbor have some good motion-activated lights outside, thorny bushes of some kind on the outside under windows and a camera within reach(gun, cell phone, and flashlight wouldn't hurt either).

They have motion activated flood lights in front and back of the house and our phone number.... we had a mossy 500, XDM9, Sig522 and Ruger 22/45 before that g-d damn boating accident

To be fair, there are also now 4 cars parked outside of the houses ( we share a driveway with them ) Not that we're taking anything lightly.

We told her to call the police after she called us, she's pretty sensible so I'm hopeful that she did.

Looking at the households work schedules, we'll have someone who is competent with a firearm home at all times for the next few days at a minimum, just how the schedules fell but I'm not complaining
