    If it hasn't been 90 days, I wouldn't bother. Every time they take a "status" call is less time they can work on moving the forms.
    +1 I've never called and don't intend to unless it goes past 150 days. Why bother them if nothing is wrong? I'd bet that the NFA examiners are annoyed by the calls and who knows if it doesn't get your paperwork moved back a week or three?

    Don't be "that guy". Let the good folks at the NFA branch to their job.
