Are your prints already "in the system?

The subject came up in another thread, that many here probably already have their fingerprints on file somewhere for different and/or unrelated reasons. (Work, carry permit, etc.)

Made me curious.

I think you have to assume they all end up in some big connected database somewhere no matter who took them initially or for what purpose.
