HAS ANYONE USED A HEAVY BUFFER 4.2 oz (tungston powder filled). I READ SOME ARTICLES LATELY OF HOW BOLT BOUNCE IS ELIMINATED. I'M WONDERING IF A STANDARD BUFFER CAN BE FILLED WITH TUNGSTON POWDER BY REMOVING THE ROLL PIN AND STOCK WEIGHT AND REINSTALLING THE POLYMAR BUSHING IN THE END AND ROLL PIN? ANY COMMENTS WILL BE APPRECIATED!

Every AR is different so theres not a single answer on the "right" buffer to use. Gas System Length, Bolt Carrier Type, Gas Port Size, Dwell Time, Receiver Extension Type, Buffer Spring Type/Weight, Buffer Type/Weight, and of course the PROJECTILE Weight and charge of the round you are firing.

Bolt bounce isn't much of an issue on a semi-automatic rifle. On an M-16, it will bounce as the auto sear trips causing either a light primer strike or no strike at all. On a semi, the bolt will likely return to battery before you could pull the trigger again. But yes, the extra weight will help with bolt bounce
