    I have no experience with these mags. I have wasted money in the past on pro mags. I bought some for a few different guns I owned at a gun show one time. All of the pro mags I tried were unreliable and ended up in the trash. This was almost 20 years ago so maybe they are better now.

    I'd never trust a Pro Mag for anything other than range use. Every one I've tried has been junk.

    I have tried a few over the years. The ONLY ones that have ever run with any degree of reliablilty, has been the .22 cal. Glock 44 Mags. All the rest were marginal at best - AR and I think 1911's come to mind off the top of my head.

    Very hit or miss. Many times I have had to tweak them to get them to run. I only buy them for range toys.
    i rely on WC 8 rounders for carry/protection, I was looking at the 10 rounders for steel comps/idpa type stuff; IMO the 10 rounders would be too big to effectively conceal

    Like when I bought this operator 45 the previous owner had a kimber 10 round mag, it's trash, doesn't consistently cycle and never locks back on empty, so it sits in the safe.

    I have had to put stronger springs in their 1911 mags to make them work. It doesn't pay if you have to buy both. Buy Chip McCormick mags when they are on sale.

    Ive heard some people have had issues with chip's followers locking back vs the polymer followers

    Here's what I use for 1911 mags these days:
    .45 Auto = Mec-Gar Competition 1911 Magazine
    9mm = Brownells 9mm 1911 Magazine

    I have plenty of Wilsons, CMCs, etc., but the above are the ones I trust for competition.

    I have a few 32 round 9mm (Colt) Promags I use in my 9mm SBR. Never had a problem with them, though their reputation has always been 'hit or miss'.

    In my experience, a loaded ProMag makes a nice paperweight. Didn’t even try to sell the few I bought before I knew better - they went straight in the trash.

    YMMV, of course.
