Anyone ever use these grips on 1911?

Bulky but well made if you want a rail on a rail less 1911 there are options such as the Surefire SR07 (replaces the factory slide stop so may need to be fitted by yourself or a gunsmith/armorer.

And the holy grail of light attachments to 1911s. The Surefire 310R/610R used most famously by LAPD SWAT in the 90's-00's.

Looking at the diameter, it's not any bigger than my VZ Grips, kinda what pointed me to them. I do like the integrated holster though

They sell them at Bass Pro. Or they were just the leftovers I saw last week or so. Only way I'd get them is if I needed a rail on my 1911.

I like the concept of tac-lite on my 1911... For the moment it's my only handgun (pre HQL) and I havent done my HQL crap yet.... The other day when I heard a crash I was reminded just how cumbersome searching a house at 0300 with a flashlight and handgun in anyform is (I use a modified grip to keep the taclight in line with barrel.. none of that cross wrists or the 'fbi' style shenanigans

I used to have a tac lite/laser combo on one of my M&Ps that was stolen... hence the idea of looking for one for my 1911
