Anybody buy a regulated gun from Gander Moutain recently?

Did paperwork on 2/14, seeing people now picking up guns from 2/15 and 2/16, MSP claims to be working on paperwork from 2/16.

A couple weeks ago I called gander, was told they were up to 2/5-2/7, went in on monday, was told they were only up to 2/2 (), called today and the dude laughed when he said no to my gun from 2/14 being there.

So has anybody picked up recently, if so, when did you purchase?

I am early march purchase - no help to you.I have found the people at this store very friendly and knowledgeable.

I have heard from others on forum that "not approval" date and date paperwork submitted are not the same for everyone.

I paid on 2/23 and sent MSP fax on 2/25. My application went under review on 4/16. Today is 72nd day and still no call.

I bought and did the paperwork for a Beretta PX4 on 17 May.

I want to buy another pistol. Do I have to wait for 30 days past when I receive this one, or can I buy another one now and get the paperwork started, then pick it up 30 days after I receive the first one?

Or can I drive up to OnTarget now, and get one in a week or so.

Sorry for the off-topic post - but saw Gander Mtn - I am sure the brick and mortar store is OK place to go, but I am pissed at their arbitrary $9 special handling charge on ammo in addition to shipping and tax. That is BS - no one else does it. Sorry again.

I did not purchased at this shop, but where I did, I was told that I could purchase a second gun at the same time if I wanted since the 30 day waiting period was completed as was my background check. It had to be same day though. The next day I would have to go through the background check again. HTHs.
