I am pretty bummed due to financial restraints of only having a part time job for the past year after losing my full time to a bunch of BS. So this has put a very big limit on my purchasing power. I have not been able to buy my #1 PRIORITY...a Steyr A.U.G. but, lately, I am feeling a little optimistic.

This was a BIG LOSS out in Colorado for Bloomburg and his knucklehead followers. It set a good precedent nation wide. Its at least a message that things can be changed! Now, if just the NRA follows suit come Oct 2, things COULD start to turn around. I really hope they do, as this would not only give us our rights back, should we be able to over turn SB281 or heavily modify it to nothing substantial, but, it may just RUIN MOM's national plans for office. :-) Now...wouldn't that be SCHWEET!!

Someone answer one question for me though...what is this RAIN TAX that I hear and read about. Is this for real, or just a joke?

For me October 1st will finally derail my expensive gun purchasing money train. Also I'm curious to see if the NRA files suit against the state of maryland on or around October 1st as promised. For those not seeing these Youtube clips this should make you want to become a DINO if you haven't already and looking forward to 2014. Please take a few moments to watch these and all the treachery in the maryland House of Delegates. Most of the politicians in maryland are evil and have no soul. I said most but not all, there are a few good ones. The sad thing for the citizens of maryland they're too few of the good ones left.

Has anyone else noticed all the ads on Tv about Texas. Saw a couple on CBS9 about how great Texas is and how i should move there.

I heard Rick Perry on the radio the other day and yeah, Texas does sound pretty sweet. If I could move there, I'd do it tomorrow.

What's disturbing about Maryland is just the "insanity" of it all. Even if business owners start to leave MD, I doubt the liberals in power would care. They'd probably just keep raising taxes and blame the Rep's for whatever they felt like.

And, the liberals don't seem to care about ACTUALLY dealing with violence in MD. If they did, why not start with the ACTUAL criminals? According to Don Dwyer (not sure if this is accurate), in Baltimore alone, over 900 violent criminals have walked without jail time for violating parole over the past 10 years. Funny that Frosh called VA the wild west - I forget, who has a higher murder rate:sad20:! It's as if they know they can't stop the violence and are just trying to placate the general populace with this lame law.

All of that said, we can't give in.

We're seriously considering a move to Cincinnati within the next year (jobs a prerequisite, of course). Much better 2A outlook (ownership and carry) that goes along with our other criteria: affordable real estate, National League baseball, NHL hockey not unreasonably far away; trending 'bluer' on social issues.

Just so you know, Ohio has a 30 round limit. Any feeding device larger in capacity than 30 rounds is a felony offense there. It's weird and stupid, otherwise Ohio is a very pro 2nd amendment state. Good Luck to you. (wish I was going too)
