I just picked up my lower that I bought last month. I don't know if this is for everyone though, I did a transfer with them in late April and I also have my DC license. Good luck!

I have quite a few there since early April. Was this a release without a NICS or did they give you a complete and signed 4473?

Did they contact you or did you stop by the shop and inquire? I have tranferred multiple firearms through them over the last year and have a DC letter. Also took possession of the last transfer May 4th.

They use case by case discretion and do not release without a previous ND (unless something has changed in the past couple days.) I waited 96 for my 1st and they released the 2nd one before that ND came back. I will caution anyone that deals with them to be patient and courteous. If you do so, they'll likely treat you with the same respect. Do not go there beating on your chest touting the laws and constitution...that will get you nowhere with them.

I have always treated them with respect and wouldnt change that now. They have always treated me good there and respect whatever they decide. If i have to wait the long haul so be it.

There are some irrational folks out there.

Indeed there are! I pretty much kept my gripes to myself but have been critical of FFL's that failed to see that an ND didn't ensure that there would be no litigation. My thinking was they need us after 10/1/13 so they should be standing with us before 10/1/13. After 10/1/13, the free market will decide the winners and losers. We should rally around and financially support the ones that put their asses on the line.

I called them and asked if they would release considering I just recently picked up another transfer and that I also had my dc license........he said come get it.

After this pickup i will no longer be purchasing any regulated firearms in MD. A 7mm mag, a 17 hmr, and a 20 ga are next on my list. Everything else will be done when i get back to VA.

I happy they have decided to loosen their policy a bit. I really enjoy visiting and doing business with the guys there. I also appreciate the fact that they have some of the lowest transfer fees around.

I'm with you there. I didn't even buy the last 2 in MD and I wont buy another round of ammo here either. Owe'Malley will not voluntarily get another dime out of me. I'm no cash cow for him. I got mine at Big Dogs in VA and they totally rock. I hope we can get out of here and move to VA. For now, I'll have to be satisfied with the guns i have.

I hope it comes down. I just read another story about them wanting to put an extra tax on ammo. I bought 2 boxes of 5.56 when I bought the AR and one of .45 when i bought it. The hubby and I went to try out the new additions at Fred's and had to buy their ammo. I loved the range but hated that policy lol. It was our first time there and it's pretty nice but I hate being forced to buy their ammo. For now, I'll scour the net or take a drive over to Big Dog's. I'd much rather give VA the tax dollars.
