That would probably be pretty nice to shoot with all the weight and the porting.
Largest I got is 45-70 Govt BFR with a 10 inch barrel
The biggest I seen commercially available is a BFR .500 S&W Revolver, which is on the MD hadgun roster.

I'm thinking you could put a stock on that and be legal too.
That's what I was thinking, you could clear a room with a blank.
It looks like a custom job, nothing commercially available.

Just saw the barrel off and have at it. It can't be much recoil since there is only probably 10" of rifling.

How does a .30-30 compare to .500 s&w?

You should have come to the fall shoot. We were shooting 30-30 and 45-70 BFRs
I think Norton capped off a couple of rounds.

I got to shoot two rounds from each and it was great! The recoil wasn't nearly as strong as I expected it would be. The recoil was not a problem, and they were fun to shoot. Thanks again Inigoes!
.600 Nitro Express belongs only in a Holland and Holland or Rigby double rifle - and no, I can't afford either one.
