Edit: They also have 1700 lbs of 9 mm and I'm sure there are others but I stopped looking. Almost makes me want to get into reloading. I don't have a location for the setup though.

Net weight of brass 118-55=63lbs

Not 118lbs but still alot of brass.

I've watched several of these in the past, and the really large lots are quickly run out of the budget of most people by the scrap dealers. Keep in mind that yellow brass is going for about @2.20 a pound now, so if a dealer can get this stuff at, say, $1.25 a pound it will be profitable for them to do so. Not many of us have $10K, or so, to put into a large lot of spent brass.

The smaller lots stand a better chance of being affordable, but folks like you and I are likely to bid up past the scrap price on those ... so still not cheap. I'd like to find a lot that would be a reasonable price for a group buy.

Also note that the starting bid is $150 which is a bit over $2/lb if we go with the 63 lb ACTUAL brass amt figure of JDH146 above for that 118lb lot(but the ammo boxes are worth maybe $20)
