I stopped into to a local gun shop the other day looking for some 32ACP. I told the guy I wanted it for my KelTec P32 that I have a pocket holster for. I carried this all the time in Florida because of the ease to carry while trying to stay cool in the FL summer. Make a long story short the the guy tells me it is illegal to carry 32 and 25 in Maryland. I looked all over the place and cannot find this anywhere. Any thoughts on where this came from?

    Thanks

    Where they send me.
The Kel Tec P-32 in 32 acp is on the roster, I just checked it.

Another gun store "commando" shooting his mouth off.

It seems like Maryland firearms law as espoused in some W&C classes and some gun shops is an endless source for wrong information. If only we could harness that hot air to heat our homes this winter.

We’d be able to keep our windows open all winter.

Go down. He can mansplain it to you. Gun shop employees are sometimes among the worst. It’s why I only patronize particular shops.

Awesome. It must have gotten removed from the banned list. I wanted one a few years ago and, seen it on the “ naughty list”, so I knew couldn’t purchase one.

Well, guess what I’m in search of now?
The .32 Keltec P-32 was never banned in MD

The only "handgun ban list" is for so-called "assault pistols" like the TEC 9 and 14 others listed by name.

I think he's confusing the Handgun Roster with some sort of "ban list," which it absolutely is not.

The Roster is notorious for being confusing. People have trouble finding particular guns which are there, but listed under names which people didn't think to look for.

In any case, the Roster is not a ban list: it's just a moronic infringement.
