    Slightly on and slightly off topic.

    My Hornady .308/110 grain FMJ just arrived from Midway USA. They are 1,000 bulk pack for 172 bucks.

    The bottoms are open with soft lead exposed.

    Anyway, I thought this might help the OP if he really needed bullets and wasn't held to a specific brand.

    The bulk pack hornady 3017b are .3075 diameter.
    They shoot well but the sierra's have an edge. At least in my rifles.
    The older boxed Hornady bullets 3017 were .308 diameter and were my favorite. These are non existent !
