If Ted doesn't clear it up tomorrow, I'll just resubmit as a 5.56 SBR. I looked off and on tonight, and since I can't get a barrel for 22lr that will put me at 29" OAL, I think I'm going to have to buy a 10.5" 5.56 barrel, and do it that way. Since I can legally swap a rimfire upper onto it temporarily, I'll just do that.

    *sigh*

Left a voicemail, the telephone representative asked that I was in Maryland, and said that it was probably just assumed that it was for .223 Remington, since the form doesn't show ".22LR" as the caliber.

I'll update when I know more.

    Definitely not where you are!

Just to clarify. What specifically did you put in box 4c for caliber?

I've tried to put 22LR via eform in the past for uncommon firearms (i.e. their system did not have a 22LR option), but it would just go under review and the system would take out the "LR" portion. Therefore, it would just leave "22" under caliber.

I left another voicemail for Mr. Clutter and Mr. Dicken... again.

It won't allow me to put LR into the caliber box, it's a drop-down for only now. Which is why I think I just have to talk to someone to figure out how to resubmit.

    Specifically: "22"

So you submitted it without making sure that it was submitted at .22LR?

And you wonder why it was disapproved???????

I selected 22, as shown in this picture:

I attached a letter stating that it was a 22LR Heavy Barrel.

So, yeah, smart guy, I submitted it as a 22lr.

NO, you stated you had submitted at 22.

Examiner might not have looked the attached letter.

But glad you got it sorted out.
