That would likely be the toughest problem to solve, since the entire law was born from a crime committed with an "AW".
Maybe not given today's decision!

I wonder how much chance HB 0369 has. That would be a great thing with VA's non-res ccw. Exhalent write up btw.
It's time for you to be quiet for a while. You are nothing more than a persistently negative force here who quite obviously has no intent to contribute anything of value.
I'm sure I am out of line and know this is a private forum but in the spirit of 1a, I find it rather ironic that in a pro 2a forum people are banned simply for expressing views that the inner circle might find disagreeable.
A big oversimplification IMO.
It wasn't just a differing opinion, it was trolling and being a rabble-rouser and contributing zero to the forum. And it was done over, and over and over ........

We have an unto date list of firearms related bills and positions here: https://www.marylandshallissue.org/jmain/forum/public-forum/396-2016-bills-of-interest
Do we also need to add the hunting related bills as well?
Good to see you back in action here.
I fully understand, that is why I said "in the spirit of 1A".
Now for anyone who believes the 7 days is a "cooling off period", we can remind them that it either took nearly 30 days to get the HQL or it isn't their only handgun.
Common sense gun law, no?
I disagree. when the 7 day wait was adopted the "cooling off" period was it's intent. Over the years the legislature has twisted it for their own definition.
I also have an issue with the "Universal recognition carry" bills. They are NOT universal if they are limited to the surrounding states. Maybe our legislators need to look in the dictionary for definitions. Yes it's a step in the right direction.

All true, but surrounding states are a good start.
HB692 is a kick in the sack.
Applying specified provisions disqualifying a person from possessing a rifle or shotgun to an antique firearm and altering the definition of "firearm" so as to clarify that the term includes an antique firearm.
