Does anyone know for sure if the newer colt le6920s are coming with the full auto BCGs? Also do they have standard pins now or Colt proprietary pins. I can't seem to find definite answers on google.

I got one a few weeks back been to busy to get to the range to shoot it. It seems like it is built well.

What is the difference with a full auto BCG ? Are there physical differences that can be seen looking at them side by side? What do most other AR's come with?

It has to do with the lower rear contour. Where the full diameter portion starts again. This is the part that trips the disconnector in full auto mode.

In the picture linked above, in the upper shot of the 3 bolt carriers, they are shown upside down.

    False.

Full Auto BCG's are so much more than their shape.

They are made of metal mined from Mt Zion, with a dash of Chuck Norris's chest hair added in during the smelting process (which takes place in the Still Active Volcano of Mt. Rainer). The materials are taken up the mountain by rare pink unicorns, and brought back down on the backs of rainbows.

These mystical Bolt Carrier Groups are capable of turning any AR type weapon into a copper spewing dragon. That is if you can afford the ammo.

Beats, bears, battle star galactica, and BCG's!

But seriously he nailed it, it's a bit more metal.

AFAIK, the lower receiver is milled differently to prevent installing on of the full auto parts.

So is there a benefit to the full auto BCG in an AR-15?
