Worked about 8 hours today taking stripping and cleaning my marlin 60 and hi point 995. I love both of these new stocks. The dragunov stock for the marlin was a pain in the ass to fit...had to drill out the hole that holds the grip to the receiver. Then once that was done, you still have to play with the trigger grouping to allow the bolt to pass through...this is gonna suck when I has to be cleaned. Went to the range, and both shoot great...the dragunov stock for me lines up the scope better and is more comfortable than the original stock. The hi point tactical stock is night and day. It gives it such a better look, and a better feel. That stock was no problem to put together.

Marlin Glenfield 60 black barrel $80 A&D pawn
    Hi Point 995 $175 +/- 1 or 2 $ The Gun Shop Essex

Ati dragunov stock..$38 from midway usa
Hi point tactical stock....$40 from hi point, comes with rails...

    Nice job on both.
Personally I prefer wood on my Marlin 60's. But that's an inexpensive way to turn a "monkey-stock" HP 995 into a 995-TS. My bet is it was easier to fit than the ATI aftermarket HP stocks.

There are not that expensive. Just didnt feel like bidding. My 60 is completely in parts and needs to have some filing done, needs to be re-blued, and put back together. Was in no hurry until I saw this thread. Might have to get it out of its box in the corner and start.

Let me know if you want to sell or trade for the stock.
