So I took my guns out for some regular cleaning, and while cleaning the inside of the slide I felt my rag catch on the slide itself. Reaching my finger in there I felt some burrs (Top edge of the pic, its the best I could get to focus)....
So what the questions are, is it a problem, is it normal, does it need to be fixed before firing again (range, not life/death)....

I took it to the range last week and it fired 40-50 rounds no problems.

Shouldn't be an issue to fire it until you can dress down the burrs some.

If it was something with stupidly tight tolerances, then that'd be another story (IMO). RIA does build with some more forgiving tolerances on slide to frame fitment, so I doubt it'd do any damage.

Should be fine based on allowable tolerances for burring if you can feel or witness the slide start to lock up or galling on the metal friction surfaces, causing multiple repeatable failures to extract and/or to chamber a round into battery.

I agree with all of the above.

However, IF you feel like the burrs are 'a bother', you COULD smear some Clover® Valve Lapping Compound in the slide grooves and assemble the pistol WITHOUT the barrel/bushing and recoils spring assembly, and work the slide about 100 times.

You'll need to completely disassemble the pistol and clean it really well, aftwards, though.

Me????????? I'd just lube the slide w/ some TW-25B and shoot the snot out of it.

Any lapping will increase clearances and make the pistol looser.

Better to just use an India stone to remove the burrs, and ONLY the burrs.
