    Here's my Rock!

My first 1911, and I love it! Changed the cheapo' grips to Hogue OD rubber grips and added some nitesiters, the rest will stay stock.

Matte Nickel finish. I like the parkerized finish more, but I decided to diversify my collection, I'm an equal opportunity employer. I'm curious to see how long the finish will last, but for the price it could not be a better gun. I guess if I take care of the finish it will last a long time.

I liked it so much I saved the pic. what grips did you have b4 them? wondering that they look like w/ wood grips?

There were some black plastic grips, not the wooded ones. Some nice checkered wooden grips would look great with that finish.
