Still have it? Thought that puppy was already sold.

No. The MK25 was. I'm just tired of looking at it and searching for holsters for SIG 1911 slides. I know they're out there, but I'm too lazy.
I have my HK45c now for my .45.

My next 1911 will be the Lightweight Ruger commander with a trip to John Carduner.

I'll be looking forward to hearing from you. The Ruger Lightweight Commander is well made. Make sure that it has the titanium insert feed ramp in the frame.

My RUGER SR1911 is, and always has been, the absolute best shooting, most accurate handgun I have ever owned, bar NONE. Has been that way since Day 1, and has never, ever had a malfunction.

FWIW, this is my exact experience with my SR1911 as well. By far, the most accurate handgun I've ever fired. It makes me look really good at the range!! Never had a malfunction either. Can't beat the price. My only wish would be a blued model with adjustable target sights.

The VZ Grips i threw on it were a light grey/black but a little bit of factory oil got on them when I was doing its first clean. They turned jet black on the spots where the oil touched so I oiled them completely with some Ballistol. I like the Jet Black look. Excited to take it out for the first time.
