12/14/14 1945 shots fired?

Anyone in Odenton area, near 32 hear a succession of shots around 7:45 this evening?

Sounded like pistol rounds, fired in slow, even succession.

Wasn't around at the time. Are you close to Ft. Meade? Could have been someone on their range.

Yeah, probably just range time on Ft. Meade. I hear it a lot when I'm waiting for the MARC train in Odenton in the morning.

Range Time at Ft. Meade?

The MARC station platform is a good mile from the ranges as the crow flies--you an see them on Google Maps or Mapquest. It could have been from one of the ranges, but that seems kind of late in the evening unless some LEO group was having some pre-scheduled night practice. The few times I've been there with MRGC we're out by 4:30 or so at the latest. Range Control wants to get home!

Did hear shots, not sure exactly what time but not uncommon being close to base.
