If they get a 10 round only law passed on either a national or a few state levels there will be plenty of companies re-tooling to sell them.

I'm not worried about getting 10 rounders now thinking they might be hard to get in a few months.

Last year I bought one of the old plastic 30 round for a 10/22. It had a pin put into place that limited it to 20 so it could be sold in places like Maryland. I am sure there are easy fixes for most to block them down to 10.

A lot of it will depend on how the MD AWB's ban on magazine possession is phrased. SB516 in 2010 didn't touch on this topic (oddly enough?), so it's all new territory - we have no idea yet what Frosh and Raskin have prepared.

Some places, like NJ (and I think DC?) have language that seems to preclude the usage of blocking devices if they're easily removed. So, you could epoxy them in, and that would be fine, but just sticking them in wouldn't be. CA's ban is somewhat more lenient (for now?).
