Here is my ultra-light 10/22 rig. Tactical Solutions threaded .920 barrel and standard taper stock that I sanded down in the barrel channel to fit the .920 barrel. Haven't weighed it officially but it is light as hell. Will get pictures of my long range 10/22 rig tomorrow.

How far did you cut it? I was planing to get a barrel and cut the standard stock like what you just did.

    Oy....so much to remember.

Adams and Bennett barrel, cut down and threaded by High Desert Dog
    Hornet Products trigger group
    Hogue stock
    Mueller APV scope
    Powers base
    Millet rings (I think)
    Duracoated by Corsica Coatings

Bump. I just re-aquired my 10/22 that I traded off back when I was short on cash...:) I need to see some more 10/22 porn. I have a Tac sol threaded fluted barrel and a Hogue overmold and I am thinking about swapping the barrel for a longer non threaded bull barrel of some sort...

Not something you see every day...

    1968 mfg. Ruger 10/22 International

One of mine and my Kids' favorite .22s that we have. Girl-twin put at least 100-rds through this gun at the last Fall Shoot. She would've shot more, but she got tired of loading the magazine....

Please excuse the pimptastic gold trigger. They didn't have a black one when I ordered it years ago. :sad20:

I know, I know, but she's meant to be shot, though. Who am I to argue with that? :D

As for the D18, I'm more of a Gibson guy ;)

After seeing this, I'm actually envious of your rifle! I usually see .22 semi-autos as utilitarian. That right there is very nice! Now I need to find a stock like that for my 10/22.

superreverb - can't blame you at all, some of my shooters would make collector's cringe. I'm a 10/22 guy and I would shoot it. Oh, and the D18, a 1950 sunburst model, I may try to trade it for a nice vintage electric, but the vintage martins seem to hold their value better.

Hang on to the Martin - they do appreciate in value, trust me. The guitar player/singer for the band I work with plays a '41-'42 D28 'bone - I shudder to think what that thing's worth when I watch it go through security at the airport LOL!
