What do you have planed for this build for $1400 its sounds like you have some nice stuff planed for it. I know that $630 with a scope is a cheap build really my problem is I keep building them

    10/22 Magnum

I know I posted this in the other pic thread :D. I bought this last Winter for $350 with a beat up factory stock and freckled with rust factory barrel on it. It had a old Tasco 3-9x40 on it with the rings over tighten so much I had to drill some of the screws out just to get the scope rings off. It had the older flathead screw Ruger used to use in the ring caps :(. Well I have been buying stuff for it all year and I was Waiting on the Stock that was on Backorder it finally came in a few weeks ago and I got it all together today.

    Ruger 10/22M Receiver and TG
    Explorer Woodland Camo Stock
    VQ Hammer and Springs
    PC Auto Bolt Release
    Shilen 20" Barrel
    Ruger Factory Bolt
    Rim Tech Spring and Rod
    Ruger Rings
Leupold VX-1 4-12X40 reset to 75 Yard Parallax

Heres a Updated Picture of my newly built 10/22 I put the Burris 3-9X40 FF II scope on here with a picatinny Rail and a set of split rings. I also just put a black PC trigger that is adjustable for over travel and the Muzzle Brake on it you know to tame the recoil down :D. Still waiting on my Bolt to come back from being reworked and blackened. After the season I plan to send the whole action out and have it refinished all one color except the stock, trigger and Muzzle Brake will be left black.

I can finally contribute to this thread!

    Here's my LTR:

    10/22 carbine
    Kidd bolt buffer
    Kidd recoil spring
    Kidd guide rod
    Kidd extended bolt handle
    Kidd bolt release
    Ruger factory scope rail
    Tech Sights (rail mounted)
    Bushnell TRS-25

I added the sling studs and threw on a nice leather 1917 sling.

Also, it just got back from ADCO who moved the barrel band back and threaded it for my Silencerco Spectre II (in jail).

Should be great for plinking, Appleseed, and introducing new shooters to the sport... not to mention quietly dispatching Alvin and his ass hole brothers. :innocent0
