Since it has gotten quiet in here, I though I'd post a picture of my new addition:

    Marlin 795 with Simmons 3-9x A/O scope (100yard challenge here I come).

I can't wait to get it to Hap this weekend.

I'm not much of a photographer but I just finished putting the extras on my new BTVSS.

    MKII BTVSS in Pepper
    Rock Mount 6"-9" Bi-Pod
    NcStar 6-24x50 scope
    OEM NcStar rings

Interested to see how the $98 scope holds up... obviously my hopes aren't too high but it seems to be made fairly well, clear/bright (to me) when i look through... we'll see.

    anyway, enjoy. :)

Very sweet. I love this platform myself as i did virtually the same thing with mine. .17HMR but otherwise the same. Theres just something about that stock that just molds to your body when you shoot it. Mines mainly a whistle pig killing machine.

Very nice selection there jimbob. I especially like the "Papa shaw". I've been thinking about getting one but i was wondering how accurate it is. Because, only accurate rifles are interesting you know. But seriously speaking how precise is it. Now, i'm aware its no surgical instrument here but is it minute of squirrel accurate?

Which one are you referring to Papa Shaw? I must be missing something?

The Savage does touching groups at 100 yards hot or cold barrel.

The Pappose is a solid performer, does about a 1/2 inch group at 50 stretching out a bit at 100 yards.

The PPS is the least accurate but pasable, about 2" at 50 yards its just to tempting to go wild.

The Taurus I am still tuning a bit (tried it out but it was a rainy day and didnt have a chance to do it from the bench with screwdrivers and dial the sights in)

    Sig.......need to shoot it.

Papa Shaw denotes PPSH. But you answered my question, Thanks.

    Thats what I thought.

Its a nice gun but to be honest I wouldnt pay what they want for them. I think I picked this one up for $275 of AuctionARms NIB.

$500 to $600 is highway roberty for a tube gun.
