Would like to hear a range report on that 522 when you get her out Integrity.

Took her to the range today and I'm more then happy with my purchase. The magazine that 2A supplied gave me zero problems. I used it to to set the BZO on the CenterPoint scope, which, for the money can't be beat. After I got a decent BZO, I popped in one of the two 25rd Black Dog Machine magazines that I bought from 44mag.com. Half way through I got a failure to load. Fixed that, finished the mag, and while firing the other magazine the same thing happened. Other then the issues with the mags, I had zero problems. This thing is dead accurate with a very smooth operation. The only other .22lr that I've fired is my friend's Ruger 10/22. I'd rather fire the Sig anyday of the week and twice on Sundays. Its a blast!

Sweet. I am picking my 522 up in 2 weeks from 2A.

    What scope do you have?
Did you get the 15 round mags?

    My Sig522, also from 2A!

2A supplied me with a 15 round mag that gave me zero problems at the range. I purchased two 25 round mags that both gave me a failure to load. However, I assembled them myself so that may have been the issue. The scope on there now is a very inexpensive CenterPoint Red Dot that I purchased from Walmart. I like setting the dot to green while firing inside at On Target. For the price, its a great little scope.

Cool! It sure is sweet lookin, did you find it liking any particular ammo better than another?

Thanks! So far I've only fired the CCI Mini mags through it and the only problem I attribute to the magazine and not the weapon. I have some Remington and Winchester ammo, but I haven't fired them yet.

I got a Sig 552 about 3 mounts ago and have shot close to 1,000 rds so far and have had no problems yet. It seems to shoot all kinds of ammo unlike my Mosquito which is very picky about ammo unless I am using my silencer.

    6-8 months waiting period. :sad20:
Someday, maybe in the fall shoot we can take it out for a suppressed plinking session.

BTW It s Zimmerman Arms monolithic SBR frame with a 5" charger barrel.

There is always hope, my latest suppressor transfer went though in 7 weeks.

Mostly finished on mine. Soon to add some iron sights, then to liberty suppressors to SBR/Integrally suppress. Then red dot sight, and wayyyy in the future night vision would be fantastic.

I have a Zimmerman XL being built with a 17" Rimfire Technologies Quantum barrel.
Mine is a Rimfire Technologies testbed and contains the entire RT catalog of parts.

    I can't wait!!!

I have a RT black parked bolt in mine, and had issues with it binding on my kidd trigger group. I'm unsure if it was the bolt or the trigger group, or trigger group pin spacing on the receiver, or all 3 and some tolerance stacking. No matter what it was, the ejector and the bolt were the cheapest things to stone on. Works smooth now. I measured the bolt, and compared to a ruger bolt it was oversized in a few dimensions, but I'm unsure of the tolerances of the gaps in a ruger, so those may or may not have been the problems.

    Good to know...

Mine will also have the black parked RT bolt, but it will also have the RT trigger group. Skeeter is the one putting it all together, and will be proof testing it before shipping to me, so I don't expect any issues.

Now that I know some other folks have their Zims in hand, I'm getting even more anxious. :)

    Nice...
It would be interesting to know what internals they are using for their factory builds.

Mine will be all RT (barrel and internal parts) with an A2 buttstock and a Mueller APV scope on a LaRue QD mount.
