This may be old news for you guys but I just read this.

Sounds like it's more of a raffle than payment for each dead fish but it's probably worth entering.

It pisses me off when the state cries poor and turns around and spends on useless programs. You know as well as I do the bounty will not put a dent in the snake head population. It's just a feel good waste of money by the DNR.

I would imagine fishing for them will require a permit, but will just shooting them be acceptable or will we need a hunting permit?

The chef at Alewife in Baltimore Apparently prepares a mean snakehead. My neighbor went snakehead hunting last week and cooked some up. Didn't try it yet but I hear it's delicious.
