A man has a right to dispose of his own property any way he wants to, and if he has a stupid reason for it, and insists on telling us about it, we have a right to ridicule him.

Saw this on Facebook and I was appalled. Had tons of supportive comments too like he was some kind of hero. Comments were turned off of course so no objective discussion could take place.

Now he's in trouble because his gun is registered and if they have to recover it, he won't have it to give back.. he will have to give them his toaster or tire iron and say it was recycled...what a DORK...

When I read stuff like this, I am lead to believe that the person that wrote the article NEVER owned any guns at all. No way. He made it all up.

Whatever. It's his gun. He has a warped vision of what the problem is but that's his opinion. Seems like a ke more of a publicity stunt than anything else.

so if someone decided to invade his home and he no longer had a firearm to defend himself and ended up raped and tied up left in a ditch to die... i don't think i would have any inkling of feeling bad for him....

The Movie "Funny Games" ironically was on TV here...that stuff does happen...maybe he never saw the Movie...though Hollywood can make you think...

I still think it was stupid...
